Honourable Mention

"On the Rise" has received an Honourable Mention in the People's Choice Awards at the Reel Rave Film Festival 2009. This documentary, about Hudson's Bay Company fur traders who lived in the Dirt Hills near Avonlea in the late 1800's, was screened at the Film Festival in Waskesiu in September 2009.

Photo Contest Winner

Tourism Saskatchewan has selected my photo of Larry Paysen as a winner in the Saskatchewan People category of their Great Saskatchewan Photo Contest. The image was captured at the Claybank Brick Plant National Historic Site's Heritage Day while Larry was demonstrating the art of blacksmithing to a group of tourists.
